Self Drive from Maun

For those who are adventurous and wanting to explore with the freedom of their own vehicle Kaziikini makes the perfect base.

Kaziikini is located in the NG34 Concession Area, sharing it's north western border with Moremi Game Reserve making it the ideal area for photographic safaris

This is a bird and game rich area, dotted natural water holes which fill during the rainy season. The residual water attracts a large variety of game species throughout much of the dry season.

A concession is a designated private area either within a national park / game reserve or just outside it as is the NG34 Concession Area of Kaziikini.

Because there are no fences or boundaries between Kaziikini NG34 and Moremi Game Reserve allowing animals freedom of movement between the two areas making it a game rich area and a photograhers paradise.

The campsite which is located in this game rich concession has regular sightings of elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, leopard and buffalo and other species. An abundance od bird life including permanent and migrant bird species that follow the Gomoti River.

Our activities include guided game drives and escorted self-drive game drives.

Kaziikini Safaris offers Game drives in our concession NG 33/34.

Game drives can be undertaken in your own vehicles escorted by one of our guides to show you the routes and where most of the game is found.

Alternatively, game drives can also be done in one of our Safari vehicles in the concession or inside Moremi Game Reserve with our guide.
